35w HID in Fog Lights...anybody having issues??

There is a perfect spot to mount the ballast under the plastic radiator cover, tucked in the engine bay framing and it's protected by the rubber splash mat thing. Zip tie them in, I've had no trouble over 2 years in KS weather.

I will have to try that. I have noticed that I do get snow on my plastic underbody skid plate but that may be from reversing in deep snow with a lowered truck. I am finding that a small loweing kit requires me to remember curbs and such matter now, haha. but i will check that spot out. Thank you.

DDM 35w 5000k for almost 3 years now and no issues what so ever. I had to cut the pig tail off my wiring and solder in the new one. I saved the old one just in case but after having hid's in my fogs id never go back!

I have been thinking about those too. I remember a thread about HID reverse lights but the practicality was not so good. I did find a very bright cree reverse light led that would do much better and they make a fog lamp as well but my 35w 5k's are great. Until someone Hibeams me. Apparently lowering a truck, aiming the fogs better still ticks people off.
