Put some 17 or 18 inch tires/rims on and you will be right with or ahead of your ecoboost buddy. Heavier rims really do make that much of a difference. Also make sure that you have some 92 octane or better fuel in your truck at 1/4 tank or so. You can also remove your spare tire to help out as well.

Good Luck!

Default Little better,

Ok a little better tonight, got off work and swung in the track late a made a couple of passes, straight off the highway went 9.13 at 77.86,then spotted my buddy in the eco-boost so we had to try them went 9.19 at 77.47 and he went red and ran 9.30 at 75.4,so talked to my tunner and we talked about there might be a little more in it if we play with the tune some, going to put some headers on soon but work is going to be hell for the next month or so, it's going to be a little while before I can get back to the track but I finally smell the eights, hmm maybe a ls9 camshaft also, stay tunned.THANKS!

8's are close! I'd say headers will definitely get you there. Maybe even a little cooler air will do it. I was going to take mine but the track here has already closed for the season
