Justin, get the 6.2 man. They pickup crazy power with a tune and taking some tq mgt out. I would go for the 6.2 personally, especially towing some.

Mine was about $32k after tint, leveling kit, and bedliner plus rear wheelwells. LT 4x4 with NHT, cloth, bench seat, interior plus pack, trailer brake controller, and skidplates.

Haha, Ryan, I was going to call you mid day today and ask how you liked tuning the 6.2l. Pm me your number to make sure I have the right one and I'll call you. I have two trucks for you to tune, because me and a buddy are buying at the same time.

The 6.2l price is right at 30,000 and the 5.3l price is 28,200~.

I doubt 3.73s are hurting your mpg, especially with the 33s

Stock trucks should see a bit of a dip with the steeper gears. The best fuel economy numbers I've seen on here from 6.2 trucks are from 3.42 trucks. However, with the taller tires I really doubt my fuel economy would be any better with the 3.42s, and my acceleration would certainly suffer. I've only driven it one mile on factory rubber at stock height, so I have no idea what my mpgs would have been

Ouch, that about what I get. But I have a lot more engine and sit a lot higher than you on offroad rubber. Are you running a steeper rear gear or something?
