The truck has 38k miles I noticed a slight oil leak at 7k took to the dealer 6 times since then and still unresolved... very pissed customer.the leak has got to the point of dripping on the driveway. no modes ever done just tow with it, the oil changed every 4000 with m1 or amsoil syn.40%.Anyone else with oil leak issues?

Low miles on mine still. I haven't even done an oil change yet. Lol. I would go to another dealer if it's an option. That's a crock; it isn't that hard to find a leak.

look for a tsb... I came across it one day doing research on the 6.2l, I know there was one about one of the seals on the back of the motor being known to leak, not sure if it applies to your year/model or not

I have been to 3 different dealers they have put dye in the oil to locate and so far the oil pan gaskit has been changed twice the oil cooler lines once the oil cooler lines gaskit on another occasion and the oil pressure sending unit. The oil collects around the bottom of the bell housing, and no it not the oil filter leaking. the only thing left is the rear main, the truck is 17 months old

rear main seal or they didnt seal the rear cover to the oil pan good enough. also there is the chance the oil sender at the top of the motor on the very back of the valley cover could be leaking.

did you pull the inspection cover on the bellhousing and see if you can tell where the oil
is coming from?

yup and there is oil residue in there, the trans has been out twice for the oil pan gaskit repair, you think maybe because the harsh winter the aluminum is exspanding and retracting and causing this issue. or the bonehead mec stripped some of the oil pan bolts and now the block needs work

I just realized that I have a oil leak at 6,xxx miles. It looks like it it's coming from the oil filter and oil plug.
