Just to be sure, I could probably use a front hanger for the rear spring. If it's a rear hanger though, it will run my lowering shackle up into the bed. Sorry I am not sure what the part is. I just haven't run across these yet. You don't have the part number handy do you? Thanks.

EDIT: Actually I just looked at the truck and remembered that the hangers are welded on. I am not mentally ready to permanently cut the factory ones off. Any more lowering in the rear is going to have to be in the springs. Yeah, I'm a wuss. Thanks for the offer though.

Fed Ex brought the coils today. They look great of course. Just wanted to say thanks JB and it was a pleasure. Now to get them on the truck...

Good deal, glad you got them.

I bought this tool to change my springs, but some people just rent them from like autozone.

Yeah I've got a set of compressers. I've been looking at pics and wondering if the strut will come out without removing the upper control arm. I'm really hoping so.

It should come out, but you will have to loosen the sway bar end nut all the way to the top without removing. You then will have to press down on the spindle/uca/lca and get a pry bar to pop the lower strut mount off the lca....thats what I did. Of course with the lowered coil it will go in smoothly.
