Yes my 2000 Silv LT and my 07 Dmax both have " leather", as well as my wifes Tahoe Z71, all have vinyl arm rests, and the rear seat in my 2000 feels like vinyl.

The rear seat in my Crewcab is leather on the seating suface i beileve, but the fold down cup holder is vinyl.

GM 's " leather" sucks. Unless you have a Denali, but you still dont get full leather.

Does make ya feel " gipped" when you pay a lot for a vehicle that is supposed to have the upscale " leather" interior.

Only the seating surface on the front seats are leather. Down the road I'll do a katzkin kit but I guess I'll wear these out first.

Guess you gotta buy from the land of the rising sun to get what you pay for. The 6.2 is the only thing that kept me from doing it.

This is one comment please don't turn this into a gm/toyota nissan bashing thread. I love my truck and have always driven the general's products along with my dad having been a tech for 20 years at a dealer before we opened our own shop.

I'm a cloth seat fan myself. I just wish you could get one loaded with all the other options but with cloth.

I would also take cloth over the leather but alas no options. Communist motors would even let me order a nice looking set of factory wheels on it without paying 2500+ dollars for a dealer installed set. I really like the all-terrain 18" rims. Denali 20's going on soon though so it's no big deal.

The big 3 trucks are all like that. Ford is even cheaper. Dodge is ok. I agree, I ordered the LTZ Silverado for the dash and some of the features, (p)leather seats I could ave done without.

I was told bt an upholstery shop that most leather seats only have the sitting area leather and the rest is vinyl. Reason being is you cant stretch the leather like the vinyl.
