Your truck probably got hit by a lightning surge, it happened to mine. Mine killed the battery, lights went out, service engine light came on, and hood open message kept flashing and the hood was closed LOL. I took it to the dealership (didnt tell them about the lightning storm) and they diagnosed it for a few days. Come to find out, it had 4 fried computers which I didn't know it had so many, so they replaced them all under warranty, no questions asked.

A few months ago my dealer's tech told me my YD has a total of 11 computers. Some are simple controllers and some are more complex like ECM, TCM.

And yes, lightning and computers do not mix well.....
