Why should you turn the engine clockwise only? Just curious

Guessing its because thats the way the engine rotates. Not sure how going in reverse will do damage but evey manual for every car I have owned has said to do this. Must be a good reason.

Good to know

I think it has something to do with timing chains/belts not liking to go the wrong direction and jumping. I don't know that you would really have an issue going counterclockwise a small amount slowly but I play it safe.

IVe pulled mine like 4 times and following the same steps. It's an easy removal. A 24 inch 3/8 extension w 15mm socket makes bolting the bellhousing to the motor easier.

What stall are you running? Do you like it?
Do you even have a truck yet or is it still sitting at a bodyshop?

You know the first stall i installed was on my brothers nbs, and that became a nightmare but i think it was due to just a bad tranny.

Im planning on putting a 2800 stall on my truck, with trans cooler and all. Just not wanting to have any major issues.

Did you have to get it tuned afterwards?

I sent a scan off to my tuner but he has not got back to me. I don't think it is necessary but probably a good idea. Other then it runs hotter then I like it seems to be working fine. Definitely takes some getting used to.

It's still at body shop. I have an fti 3000 and love it. I'm not sure what the power rating is but mine felt ok.
