sorry guys for the delay in post, no it is not a lsx shop it is the dealer. I took it to have evaluated for a noise and heavy noise in the bottom end that i figured was piston slap, but it sounded somewhat excessive. Well they started out as they were gonna put a new set of pistons in it, and now after getting the pistons out, they said that there is a cylinder that is more egg shaped, so I am having to wait for a new engine to make it in. I do not mind the wait though as the truck has 82000 miles on it and now I will have a new engine installed under warranty.

I too am getting really excited about the whole thing. Unfortunately I am going to have to put my own headers on, since he is afraid that something may not fit correctly with the catback and cost him any more time if he has to take them back off for some reason.

I have my truck back!! Cam is in, heads are on, and i still have to put the headers on and my vararam, but we are having some very cold weather especially for ms, we have snow, and ice down right now. Not necessarily the best for replacing headers.
I can tell it is gonna definitely have to be tuned but i have that covered now; the truck is still trying to idle at 550, and actually doing a good job except for on hard stops.

It is very quiet coming through all the stock cats and stock muffler and resonator right now, but i believe that will change some once the headers and off road y goes on, even with stock muffler and resonator.

What do you think for exhaust guys; i want corsa, but funds wont let me, thinking of doing a di/do magnaflow with true x inside, and exiting the tails before the rear tire on passenger side, like the lightning trucks. Whats your take, i do not like how the y pipe somewhat merges into 3 inch and then bells back out to 3 1/2, i would rather it merge into 3 1/2.
