What is the best way to engage the AFM (displacement on demand) on a '07 Tahoe (that is apart from driving downhill)? I'm guessing adding cold air and exhaust to slightly up the hp. Would this help? I'm getting about 15.5 mpg town and 17 highway.

 

You are doing good. I get 13.9 in town and 15.3 on hwy with 22s and 4wd. I am looking for a catback and cai for mine too. Just havnt decided which one yet.

 

im getting about the same on the 07 tahoe.. 15.0city 18hwy
and I already have a custom tune but its on 87octane... its the wifes truck so I wont be doing nothing to it besides the tune and a cai, i hope the cai helps it out??? its funny that my cammed/stalled 6.0 truck gets better gas mileage than the tahoe and than my DD
