Hey guys just wanted to share the new truck with you guys. I just signed the papers last night. Its a 2012 scsb 5.3l 2wd....

Here is the list of goals I plan to have done by monday
-DOD DELETE
-COMP VVT CAM
-PAC SPRINGS
-2.3L WHIPPLE
-22" WHEELS WITH 285-45-22 TIRES
-4" FRONT 5" REAR LOWER

HAVE ALL PARTS WILL START THE UPGRADES TONIGHT AND WILL POST PICS WHEN DONE.....

Nice, did you trade in the ecsb? Will be one mean truck. What about gears? are you planning on switching. Or did you get it with the g80 and 3.73?

 

I'm ready!!

 

For now I am going to stick with the 3.42's it came with and the g80 it already has. I did trade in the extended cab for it. I am hoping with the weight difference and the power I wont have to gear as much as I did the big truck..

Wow, sounds outstanding. I'm betting the Whipple will make those stock gears work out just fine. Can't wait for some track reports!

 

That is what I am hoping for. Track passes will be awhile. First we have to get the tuning done plus the closest track is 2 hrs away.
