i have a 2001 yukon xl and the brake lights stop working. blinkers, tail lights and all work, just all 3 brake lights will not. i checked the fuze and its good, i removed the brake light switch and pluged in a napa one. before i put it all back in i pushed the little lever thing which would activate the brake light switch and they did not illuminate... any thoughts

 

I would get a probe and see if power is getting to the harness when someone steps on the brake. I had problems with my trucks brake lights a while back and ended up being a bad ground picked by the bodyshop.
