go to efilive.com to look up any info about the product. If you buy the product, you'll get everything you need.

Holy crap dude, I can see why you want this thing. I downloaded the software to my laptop and ran the setup so i have it on there now. Well anyway as soon as i downloaded it i opened up the Scantools.pdf file and started gettin familiar, and i must say this thing is awesome!!!! My laptop has both usb and 9 pin serial But the real cool thing is this scanner I love it!!!! It comes with the demos you can view how it works this thing is rediculous...probably about the easiest and most understandable scanning equipment I've seen b4!!! I can't wait to try this out on my truck!!! By the way on main introduction when you first open the program it ask what type of ls1 motor youre using, do you chose "other"???

woohoo, got it and it does work well. i pluged it in and it worked, just that easy.

i did a read, 3.40min, i did a write, 90sec or so. i did some loging, easy. i did lots of stuff and it all works great. no fuss at all. i even unpluged stuff and pluged it back in. tried diferent usb ports. just didn't matter it worked no matter what i did.

you can probably tell i am happy that it works, edit didn't work well at all. conection problems all the time.

lots of new tabs, going to take some time to learn what some of this stuff does. i bet i never get more than about 10% into what this thing will do.

very cool!!!

Thats a great testimony in itself. It just works...

How about all the new features that we haven't had before in Edit? Its crazy. I noticed a section that would allow us to adjust the "avg mpg" and "instant mpg" in the cluster info center. How about that 3d chart thats above every table and the colorized table cells. Makes it much easier to see what you are doing.

The scanning software is really nice too. Custom maps and dashboards are really fun to play with.

Get this - Edit locks the VIN and the PCM serial number. So once you tune it, thats it. These EFI licenses only lock to the PCM serial number. That means you can run your stock 03 tune, then have another VIN loaded on it for an 04 HD truck and EFI will still work. No more issues changing over from the 99 to 02 PCMs or moving to the 80E transmission. Get a new truck, just have your old PCM loaded with the new VIN.
