A wierd smell coming from vents in wifes car

Yup! My wife says it smells like gasoline. I don't know where that could be coming from because I have checked for leaks and found nothing.

also try using bleach and hot water in a bucket. Run the heater let it sit for about an hour, if their is anything funky smell in the vents it will be gone, and the bleach smell only last a few minutes after you take it out and roll down the windows with the heat on. that's how alot of people get ride of smell from smokers etc in the vents and get them cleaned.

bet it is injector seals
Start the car up cold
spray some brake cleaner - right at the base of the injectors
where they go into the manifold - if the rpm raise
injector seals
I used to do quite a few of them
As the engine warms - the seals expand and no leak-no smell
Pretty easy to do.
You can buy just the injector seals.
Start the car up cold
