widest tire on a 20" wheel
#2
My Mom has 18x10's on her Yukon, and we had a get of 285's on there and they rubbed in the front while turning. We put on the Nitto 265's and no problems. I was really surprised they rubbed on there because its 4wd and mine is 2wd and I have 285's with a 8.5" rim and no rub.
With a 9" rim I'm sure you could fit a 275 on there. Keep the height within reason too (close to stock).

Is this 4wd? That's very important, if it is, then I see no problem. Most shops, at least the disctount tire here, will mount 1 rim and tire to see if it all works. You might want to ask who ever mounts them to see if they'll do that before you buy them.

We have an 04' 2wd Tahoe w/ 20x9.5's Momo's and 305/50's no rubbing at all. Here is a crappy pic from the front (it's the only pic I have postable) but you can sort of see see how wide the tires are. They've never rubbed anything in the 4 months they have been on.
