my buddy has a 97 f150 with a 5.4 and we put a kenne bell supercharger on it and with the 10lb pulley it was pushing almost 15lbs of boost before the shift and its still going strong. lucky i guess

Thats because its a new modular motor. Those blocks are quite a bit stronger than the old 5.0 blocks.

It probably be fine and would hold alot more power but the trick would be trying to get the a 305 to make enough power to hurt its self.

I think if htat was mine I'd definitely keep that one around for show. If asked if the shop makes power just direct them to that. "We can make more than the block can handle if you want, but I'm betting you'd be wanting something a little milder"

That Mike Murillo has always been fast. A 302 stroker (351) with turbo, mondo or blowzilla or whatever its called. His ford can hang.
