Ok looking for some specs. I have an 05 silverado 1500 ext cab 2wd. It has 17" on it now and wont 20". So who knows stock specs on stock 20" wheels for silverado and tahoe? Who knows max offset that wont have clearance problems on a lowered silverado. What best tire size for a silverado on 20" with a 4/6 drop with little to no rub?

 

I have LTZ Tahoe 20's on my truck, with the front dropped 2in on 275/45/20's they have plenty of room. Lot of guys on here run them with no problems. Not sure on exact specs though.

 

Thanks for the info. I have been looking into the ltz 20's after reading your post. Now the problem I have is all the sets of 4 I can find they won't $1500 for the rims alone. For a few hundred more I can get brand new aftermarket 20's and new tires. Did you spend that much just to get OEM rims? I know they are crazy pricey from the dealer brand new but wow.

 

I cheated with mine and got them already on the truck. You may be able to find some for way cheaper on Craigslist or in a salvage yard though. You may want to talk to 2000chevysilverado on here though, he's the one who put the wheels on the truck before I owned it, so he may have a good source.

 

Wish I could cheat like you. I have been checkin craigslist every day. Found one set for 250, sold surprise surprise. The rest have been 1200 to 1500 or so. Thanks for the name drop I will check with him.
