wheel backspacing and off set?

Default wheel backspacing and off set?

ive found a good deal on some forged 18 x 10 wheels , what backspacing and offset should i be looking for to keep the outer lip on the inside of the fenders? these will be used for the track with drag radials. looking for some insite. btw the wheels are 4.5 backspaceing and -25 mm off set

30mm offest and 5.5" b/space should work

Up to 7.5" b/s if you want to run a 12.5" wide (cross section) tire on a 10"rim, or 13+" if you roll the fender lip. That will tuck'em in nice, if you are looking to get the widest meats on there possible w/o rubbing. Your truck may me slightly diff.

well im asking if the rims i mentioned above would work or would they stick out? id be running 305/45/18 tires.

look for pics of parish's truck, those are 9.5 wide w/ 5.5 or 6" backspacing and there not entirely flush. I think those your looking at will stick out some.

Yes, they are going to stick about 2.5 inches.

You will need, at least, 7" backspace. This should keep the outside of the tire on the inside of the fender lip, but all trucks are not created equal and YMMV.

At a minimum, the 7" bs will not have the tire beyond the fender.

I know.. but hey SnakeOiler, Fredericksburg huh... surprised I have not see you cruisin around town I keep my eyes open for good lookin trucks.

Like said, they will stick out about 2.5". You will need atleast 7" for them to be flush, more to tuck them.
