Default What's the best tire ?

Any suggestions on the best tire to put on stock rim.
I have Firestone Wilderness AT 265/75/16 and they are
not wearing good.
I had Michelin's on my Toyota and on our Jeep
with over 40,000 miles and over half the tread was left.
But they were worthless on wet roads and were very hard even with low psi.
Looking for a smooth ride, long wear, and all season.

Any suggestions Appreciated

Nitto 404 extreme force tires. Best damn tires I have ever owned and awesome in dry or wet and especially around corners. the toyo proxess would get my second vote. I have put almost 10k on a set of nittos and they are wearing great.

I had a set of toyos on my sierra and they were nice tires also but the grip just doesn't quite compare with the nittos. close though. I think both tires are comprably priced.

I some Toyo Peroxie’s that were great until I had two of them blow out on two separate road trips.

My dad owns a 98 Silverado 4x4 and he loves Goodyear Wrangler tires. They are just the all terrain ones. His first set (the ones that came on the truck) got 70,000 miles on them. They are quiet and have good traction off road (Went down the side of a ravine through a creek and up the other side that was muddy). My mom had a Explorer and she got 80,000 out of them. On a different note, both me and Parish, will both say do not buy Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires, they dont hook for crap and mine are half way worn down after 12,000 miles. A waste of money
