Ok, I was at the track the other night w/ new tires that don't hook for **** and I keep going down on the press. to try to get it to hook. My truck has been running consistant 14.8's but lousy '60 times. The best of the night was a 2.292. Now my last run I spun pretty bad off the line but it caught itself w/o me having to back out of it. My '60 was a 2.445 and I was .17 slower in the 1/8 and almost .2 slower at the 1000ft. My 1/4 mile time was .1 slower but my MPH was about 3.7 MPH faster at 95.42 to my usual 91 or 92 MPH at the most. I did manually shift out of second at I'm guessing 61-6200, maybe 6300 because I thought I felt it hit the rev limiter as I was shifting but not sure. I wasn't paying too much attention to the tach but I could of sworn that it was shifting a little too early at the 2-3 so thats why I manually shifted but only on the last run of the night as the track was closing. Usual shift point is 5800 I think. Both runs were pretty much identical except for the '60, even the RT is within .002 of each other So my question is what do you think my time would have been if I had nailed the '60 w/ maybe another 2.29 or better...Zed
