I could of sworn they offered a 5spd with the 2500, I just checked the gmbuypower website last night.

I think I'm going to check into a rcsb with a 4.8 just because it will leave me some more cash for modding but I'll still be able to transfer most of the electronics to the 6.0 right?

 

The 2500 might come with a 5spd....I'm not too sure on that one

Everything you do to the 4.8 will swap right over to the 6.0, electronics, heads, cams, exhaust...EVERYTHING

 

So I'm looking at crate motors, just because I'm curious. I'll probably pick a used motor and trans from a yard. I cam across a ls7 @ summit, so I get all excited then I see the price $14,000. What the hey? Is that motor seriously worth 14K?

 

well its the new zo6 corvette c6 motor complete with 505hp from the factory on an aluminum block 7.0l 427... it would be nice
