My lightning ran 13.4x's stock.

I have a buddy who has a 99 and has spent about $1,000 on it and is running 12.90s. It's going to cost you a lot more than that to run the same ETs

Decide if you have the money for Forced Induction or stay N/A. Both are gonna cost some money to run good. Here is circusboy's progress N/A with an 07. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=406694

Race him on a cold day. Doesn't take to much if its less than 40 degrees out. Especially if he's pulleyed down and has stock rods. That blower loves the cold air but the rods don't.

I dont think it'll really take much 2 beat the lightning at all. My stone stock 4.8 with no exhaust kept a lightning at 1/2 car from a dead stop

No offense...

Either it wasn't a real lightning. it was a f-150 with the lightning wheels and body kit (very common where I live), or he wasn't trying at all.

I know nav05 ran a 14.6 with long tubes 4.10 and a cam on his 4.8. I think a stock lightning will run mid 14.0s maybe he had a plugged fuel filter or a slipping belt or a plugged up cat. I don't think stock 4.8 could beat a healthy lightning.

If there is something wrong with the lightning it would run mid 14s. That could mean mechanical or driver.

Seriously though, some lightnings stock have run 13.2s Most run in the 13s.

So yeah something is weird.
