20's & 3.42's may hurt some, but they were already at a rolling start. His GMC should have smoked that Ford.
Long tubes and factory tune don't get along too well. You are in need of a Nelson Tune! You'll love the difference.
Add some 3.73's, 3.90's, or 4.10's and you'll really be hauling ***! The lower gearing will hurt your MPG's if you go with too low of gearing, you may just want to keep it between the 3.73 or 3.90 gears. If you do decide to go with different gears, put a locker in while your in there.

There must be an echo...I swear I've heard all this before...tyler...The tune is just around the corner. Gears...I know I need to, but I'm too lazy and I'm not going to pay to have it done. I don't want to spend a whole lot on this truck because I WILL have a 6.0 in the near future, come hell or high water.
