with those mods that truck should definatly run well in the 12's. but your probably going to need to get an eaton w/ 3.73's or 4.10's and some sticky tires to get there.

some gears will for sure be next on the list, was thinking I should also lose the 20" rims and get some nice polished 17" ers

Im tuned for them so I dont see how they can hurt me, its not going to be throwing any more or any less fuel in there, they just wont have to run as hard from what I understand. The stockers may have been fine but I dont want to run a high duty cycle or chance running lean. I may also go FI in the near future.

who speced out that cam for you? you should also go with a bit more stall

I bought it from a member here, it came with the lq9 I purchased. I believe it was made to run with FI not sure. I will be upping the converter to a 3000 stall speed. The verter I got now that is supposed to stall 2500 will only brake stall to 1700 and if im lucky it might flash to 2200 with the 4.8 I had. I dont know how it will act with the new set up on the Lq9

makes me wish i didnt have an extended cab or else i would be about 600-1000 pounds faster...o well just means i get more power to go fast
