My roomate just bought a 2008 4.8 and we raced and he kept with me till about 30. My truck has wayyy more torque why cant i smoke him off the line? I have noticed my truck is a dog off the line.

I swapped 6.0 from a 4.8. To be perfectly honest with you there isnt much difference between the two up to 2000rpm. It's over that the 6.0 really starts pulling. That being said you really should take the 4.8 at any time. 6.0 puts down at least 50hp and 80 more torque
