What to do with your stock Valve Springs

I don't think even that many stock springs are gonna be enough for Blownchevy......maybe if they were doubles. 
Is that some sort of construction adhesive?

My shoes have truck front coil spriings, those are my buddies......
as for the adhesive, you should know what it is, you built your last truck with it.
