Default What to do?

After seeing thunder550 and so many other members lowering there trucks and seeing how good they look, I think Im catching the bug. My truck being a 4x4 I dont want to lower much more then stock, Ill remove the body lift, decrank the bars and at most remove the rear blocks, find some NNBS 18's or 20's and get her fixed up some and focus on performance.

But do not fear, as you might remember back a few months ago I started a thread called my new ride or something like that, an electrican buddy decided he didnt want his 1996 4x4 chevy 2500 anymore because its a 2500 lol, so he decided to give it to me.....yes "give" as in for free, so this truck will get the body lift more then likely and all the stuff I planned on doing to the 2000. So best of both worlds? Or keep doing what Ive been doing?

All input appreciated,

ChevyCowboy aka Zach

If lowering your 4x4 doesn't decrease it's use (I know you live way up north) then I say go for it.

The most lowering Ill do is removing the body lift and rear block and decrank the bars, so basically a little higher then a stock 2wd, so it should do fine, worse comes to worse Ill have the 1996 4x4 if things get nasty

I just swap on my winter wheels and tires and I'm good to go...granted if there's 2 feet of snow I'll rip the valance off of my truck lol. I'm assuming that you probably get alot more snow up there than we do here in New Jersey though.
