I think I have seen your truck before out there... Ive got a friend that lives out west on Jessica. I did alot of work for Time Warner out there too.

 

Call me crazy...but I think the previous generation Lightnings (like the one you have, 203Cree) will be faster than the new Lightnings, if SVT releases them. Aren't the 2004+ F150's heavy? I think those 22" wheels will slow it down too. I've always liked the Lightnings and I'll take the previous generations before that new Lightning.

Back to the LS2 equipped truck, I don't think it would look so bad if they replaced the rice rocket front bumper with a regular one. As for the 1/4 times, looking at the 1700rpm@ 60 mph spec, I'd say the thing is geared way too tall for the wheels. Either put on some smaller wheels, or a 4.56 axle, and I'll bet the performance improves dramatically.

If they are pushin 417hp through a stock 4L65E it probably has a shitload of tq managment or else the factory warranty would be replacing tranny's after 10K miles.
