They either test vehicles in bad weather or the drivers simply don't know how to drive. You have to admit though, 417 hp/417 tq from a naturally aspirated engine is impressive. How many Fords can claim that? As for that truck's appearance, those chevy decals could go and the wheels could have been smaller, like 18's.
I'm not getting into a Ford vs Chevy debate here. I was simply asking what was up with that truck.

But, I will say this. 380 for a Lightning is waaaaaayyyyy underated.

Thanks for clearing up the Concept issue.

This thing looks ricer all the way!
Lose the stupid front facia and throw the wheels away!

Maybe they should use the mechanicals on an SS to add some go with the show.

... when they say "standing" quarter mile.. does that mean from a dead stand still... or is that just the terms the mag uses? I would drive that thing off of a cliff if I had that much hp and only ran 14's...

and ya cree.. idk what their thinking.. its quite ugly. I hate the new body style as it is and I'm going to guess those wheels are just for testing or something.

Give it a custom tune, paint it black and put some alloy wheels on it and and I'll take it.

Hey Silver, shouldn't you be changing your screen name to 99silver6.0?

It might run faster that way. Maybe it'd break 10's, who knows?

I really liked the first SS concept, the 98-(?) RCSB stepside, 6.0 with a six speed ( correct me if I'm wrong ). If they'd made that truck, there'd be a different brand of vehicle in my sig.
