wifes truck ran 16.4 stock.... 04 1500 cc 3.42 . but I know it could of done better that was before I know about stalling @ 1Krpm.. may be a little better by doing that... wifes truck wouldnt screech the tires either when knew but after me driving it for a while it kind of broke in now when ever you floor it them tires will start spinning... i think it is just a matter of breaking it in.... my .02

Check my sig. My best run to date is the 14.762@90.56 mph. Mods are also in sig.

Never ran the truck stock but it was a turd. I financed 24,5K for mine the same month that they released from the factory and it is loaded. I love it. And its fun to whoop up on cars in a crew cab land barge. I get a lot of dumbfounded looks like, WTF just happened?

Mine came with 3.42's stock and couldn't spin the tires. Put in 3.90's, got better. Put in the transgo, servo, and converter, whoa nelly.
My parents bought a 2005 with the 3.23's. Geez, I felt like I was gonna get run over entering the freeway.

we found a black one with 3.73 and locking diff were gonna go check that one out.

My Cuzins 05 Crew Cab has 3:73's and Locking Diff..... pretty much halls ***!.....

Just started in 05. I don't think that the 3.42's are an option anymore.

hey ss does it spin off the line? it should , my heavy 99 z71 with3.73 does.
