Check around at the base of the panel for a drain hole, probably going to be under the truck. My guess is its a drain and the intended outlet just got plugged up.

If you have a sunroof the sunroof drain goes down that pillar. There should be a drain hole on the bottom of the body.

Damn I had the same problem. Right around the time Hurricane Ike I drove through some high water, I think it was from that but that's all I could think of that could've been the problem. I have no sunroof but by the time I found it the mounting tabs for the plastic clips where rusted out.

The water from the windshield area on my pickup drains just behind the mudflap on the front of the trucks. IF you dont have a mudflap there should be a little plastic piece there and a little bit of space between it and the body. See if that drains when you put water, use a pitcher of water or similiar not a hose, down the windshield and the door closed it should start to drain out from there. If not see if you can pop off that plastic piece or use something like a stick to see if you can get the crap to break loose and clear out.

IF that doesnt work resort to a hard stream of water up there and see if you can break free the blockage.

This happens a lot if you tend to park under trees or play in the deep mud!!
