why's that? no fun at 4500 RPM at 75 with no radio and no A/C?

none so far other than a lock set, and just real real minor details. Maybe work on figuring out why the shifter is real loose, maybe wiring up a stereo, and maybe A/C. No big plans yet since it needs 2 tires, and Im working on getting a bike. Also I think the 6.0 swap is gonna be a wee bit more extensive than in my '00

nice straight truck for $3200. i think i would put stock tail lights back in it, dump the exhaust under the bed, put some Torq Thrusts on it and are those some sort of vents in the side of the hood. good starting point for a project though

haha, gas mileage is gonna suck ***** like that.

seriously though, nice find, especially for 3200. its hard enough finding one of those in a short wide(non stepside) bed anyways much less straight.

might google the copperhead truck for ideas

yeah, I saw a long bed listed as well but this is JUST like the one I saw about 3 yrs ago and its straight and clean I HAVE to have it. Im thinkin torques on it, thank God for 5 lug! and the exhaust is stayin duals out each side. May not be the quad tip its got goin or chrome. Yes those are vents in the hood haha they're kinda growing on me.

To be honest I dont think gas mileage could be MUCH worse than my 6.0 silv since I drive with a heavy foot anyway.
I was stoked about the short bed as well. I've seen copper head, thats a beautiful truck, even before that was made I've loved this style.

and yeah I think the tail lights are gonna go.. not a huge fan hah but for now they're staying only because I dont wanna rip in to the body. I wanna just drive it for a bit and start with the wheels. Little "south of the border" for me

you had overdrive in the 00 plus a lock-up converter. if you do much driving over 40mph, gas mileage will be low

Sweet find man! I would not worry about the MPG... Hell my truck gets 10 city/20 highway, lol.... How do you like that split...

Your making me want to get a truck like that instead of a project F-body...
