Can you get 14 pounds out of a whipple??I thought 10-11 was about tops.

depends on the motor and how high you want to spin the blower. whipple says 15000rpm max recomended rpm. on my 6.0 spining the motor to 6000rpm and the blower to 15000rpm i see 11-12psi. on a 5.3 that would be ~3psi more. and who says you can't spin the blower a little faster or shift a litte sooner.

i have no idea how you are going to stay out of detonation, maybe some 117octane fuel but then you have to deal with the whole lead problem. if i run 100octane i can run 9psi but not 12psi, don't have all the pullys to see if i could get 10 or 11.
