ABS delete
A/C delete
Tear off all of the EVAP crap and delete the codes / tests in the tune
Make the Pass window full-time "up" and remove the window motor / crank / switches.
Remove windshield mounted mirror
EMPTY your wiper reservior or get a smaller one or delete it alltogether.
Remove sun visors
Remove passenger side windshield wiper and linkage
Get a smaller fuel tank
Smaller coolant overflow tank
Remove all the useless wiring (if no tow hitch, remove all the wiring up to the fuse box etc.). Most trucks have all the wires even though the options were not installed.

right behind the rear end on the pass side. Theres a round crossmember behind the rear, its right up against it, built some brackets and mounted the stock tray to it so i could use the stock hold down and a strap hold down for double protection!!!!
Im gonna have to move it one day though. I plan to do some different stuff to the suspension like moving the shocks behind the axle on both sides, or even goin allout and doing the 4link. Ill just move it in front the rear end, no big deal!!

Bump,
Finding that most of the easy weight to shed would be at the rear of the truck, at what point is the traction lost hurting et's by not having the weight over the rear tires? This thing already needs to be peddled when I take off after spooling it up, curious how much better it will hook with slicks at the track and if I should leave it or actually pull the spare and tailgate and hitch and, and, and... 99 RCLB

Figure i would bring this back up and its time to start dropping the lbs again. Not going to be much this round but hey un-needed stuff will go. Im not just all out gutting it but just taking out the things i deem useless for me.

Are you talking about the body ground tie in to the frame? I'm guessing that's what the little bolt on bracket is for, but I'd think that you will be fine without it as the body mount bracket is welded to the frame.
