Keep us updated, I weighed my truck again, im down to 4350. I plan to do a rollpan this month and if i remove my subs and amp i think i have an easy 100+ pounds(combined rear bumper+sound system), ill weigh it when it comes out.

Also i need some new tires im going to a smaller size in a performance type tire, hope to lose 5lbs per wheel, we will see though. My bfgoodriches are not the lightest

I took my sway bar off along time ago and never felt any difference

Well I removed the sway bar today, I can feel a difference in handling, but its not too drastic.
It weighed 23lbs

Oh and sorry for the inaccurate tailgate weight, i just weighed mine, 46lbs.

Might be out on a limb here but wouldn't the high mph that most of you are hitting be too much of a load on our non-aerodynamic trucks and crack the fiberglass brackets? I thought about doing this awhile back but since I know nothing when it comes to fiberglass I left it alone. That and I got the wtf is wrong w/ you look when I asked a few buddies about it.

Not sure how serious you want to get into it but you could...

- remove the airbags
- gut the glovebox and just replace cover to hide
- swap stock battery for a lighter one with same CCA
- remove cats
- re-do your exhaust with least amount of material and cut all remaing exhaust hangers
- swap the back window for a lexan piece
- Ebay a fiberglass hood
- use an SS bumper cover by removing yours and adding brackets to mount it (removing a solid front bumper completely)
- ditch your tailgate for a gate guard or some other net
- buy a lightweight flywheel in place of your stocker
- dive under the truck and start cuttin off BS you don't need

considering it
not sure at this point wether i want to cut the interior
battery is relocated so i need that weight where it is
cats are gone already
exhaust is really short already
thought about this also just not at this point
dont make any good looking hoods for this body style
really considering
tailgate is off when racing
flexplate here
cut alot off but dont know what else can be
