Default wait for me tune in new times

Alright, I finally got my wait for me tune yesterday, put it in no problems, the truck does feels stronger. I don't know about the shifts, it kinda seems sloppy to me. I just slides into gear, but does not fall on its face like it used to. I can definately tell it keeps pulling through the shift, I just don't know how healthty it is for the tranny. Now for the numbers, at the local track 1/8th, the truck has ran 9.97 - 10.06 very consistenly, it ran between those numbers probably 10 times, and a best of 9.86 twice. With the new tune, it ran a 9.80 the first time, with a 60' of 2.25, with tow/haul on, (supposedly the tow/haul a$$) all tq mgmt removed. Then I ran it with out tow/haul and ran a 9.93 with a 60' of 2.32, I let it sit for about an hour for OAT's come down a bit and ran a 9.85, 60' 2.26. The last run was against a Lightining with a smaller pulley, he ran a 8.83, oh well. It was fun any way, my truck looked better. Overall I am pleased with SOTP feel of the truck, it most definately made an improvement in mid range, I am a little disappointed in improvement over the Hypertech at the track, but I will go back in a couple of weeks and see if there is any truth in the re-learn for the PCM.

Yeah go get the crank relearn done and see how much it helps. I've put about 1500 miles on mine and haven't got the relearn done. However, i dropped close to 2/10th in my 60ft times with this tune. But after that it just spins. It ran a 10 flat at just over 73mph. Stepsyde you need to take it to ware shoals one friday night and see what it pulls down there. I seem to get a lil' better traction there, but you don't go through the lines as fast as greer though.

I wated a while before I got my crank relearn, when I did I saw no performance gain. I think the realearn is a diagnostics (sp) issue not performance.

Maybe it's just me, I don't know. I've only driven a few miles since I had the relearn done. I've been driving grandpa style to save a little gas also.

My tune definately waked my truck up a good amound, at least in the sotp department, but now I am going to throw some 32's on it, get it reprogramed and see how she runs. Shifts seems to go through to the next gear and not just stop pulling on my truck.

same here about the shifting... feels really odd, IDK if this is a good thing or not. I mean the shifts are really really smooth... maybe its the lack of tq managment? idk, but it shifts nice, just something new to me.
