I will go look at the used Sierra VHO here and report back on what they are going for "pre-owned."

 

These are still only available in certain states, right? Like Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and a couple others?

Yes only texas , oklahoma, and louisiana I believe. but i am sure just 3 states.

 

not stock. stock, the Harley truck kills an SS.

 

Now...if they would just put the '99 thru '02 front ends back on.

 

And the VHO beats a SS in teh 1/4 not off the line though from what I have read. but I am with you I doubt it owuld beat the harley (isnt it supercharged ?)

 

yes the harley is supercharged. all you would ned to beat a harley more then likely in a vho is tune, cai, exhaust, headers and you should be able to take one prety easy. the biggest problem is traction for us. or get a stall with some sticky tires and you should be able to run with them.

 

What are the specs on the VHO's? and what all has changed. i know this might sound like a stupide ? but oh well think what you want just please school me on this!

 

6.0 lq9 345hp, 4l65e, 3.73 gears. mine right now will out run my regular atleast up until 60(that's as far as I've gotten) their is alot of power on hand but you can still feel the truck really hesitate from the stock tune, I jsut can't wait to get mine modded alittle. I heard about a guy with a cam, stall and smaller and lighter wheels and tires ran a low 13 second. someone was telling me abou it on the board. Also the vho is extended cab. also I think the harley's are heavier and only producing rigth about the same amount of power.
