i am looking to see if anybody knows how to swap a v6 silverado 2003, to a v8 i know how to swap it i have all the stuff to do it, but i need to know how i will be able to pass inspection and be able to sell it when the VIN reads 6cyl and it has an 8? does anybody know how it is legally possible, please no "buy one with an 8cyl" comments they are not welcome, have no money to buy one with a v8.
any help is appreciated!!

 

Im not sure on the inspection bit, but there are certainly threads around about how to do the swap from every v8 to another and how to do v6 to v8.

 

I did the swap not to that long ago realy ready to do and have had no probs with inspection
