I have the ram air tube D_Rek, bang for buck wise I doubt that it's worth the coin as the whole sytem feels the same as my K&N FIPK did to me, but I'm happy with the fit and fitment, and I'm sure it doesn't hurt anything. Am I happy with it...yes, would I recommend it to someone on a tight budget who needs parts for a cam swap...probably not. You could always build your own ram air also.

BTW, I never ran my Volant without the ram air tube on, so I don't have any before and after comparo's...

For $900, that's sounds like a good price. Installed & esp. if it's the HPT Pro version. I installed a Volant on bros' ride years ago. Only gripe was clearance near fan shroud. They also made some kind of revision about belmouth transition, I think. On my Vararam, while the Ram Air part works, I was pissed to pay $100 extra for what was in my eyes a piece of (engineered) plastic.

so you dont know him personally or anything right? cause if i can get it done for 900, i will do it in a couple of months. i think im going to get pushrods too though. the ls1/ls6 book says if there is a weak link in these motors, its the pushrods.
