UPDATE on my A/C blower not shutting off. What part was it??? Answer...

Blower for my AC wouldnt shut off. I have the AUTO Climate option in my truck. There is a recall for all the manual units, but not mine.
The question was. Is it the Resistor module, or the actual control panel.
I was getting responses for both. Decided to roll the dice and go with the resistor since it was cheaper $50 from Rockauto.com Vs $110 from pretty much anywhere else.
New unit came with a revised pigtail that had to be spliced into the original harness.
Wired it all up, and .....
The resistor fixed it. Blower moter is acting as it should, and all AC controls are back to normal.
SO, to sum up, if you have the AUTO climate option, and your blower motor wont shut off, look to the blower motor resistor first.

Glad it worked out for you.
As a professional mechanic, the resistor is the problem in roughly 90% of the "blower doesn't work right" cases. I personally didn't encounter any bad controllers except for the few that caught on fire first.
