those cars are awesome, but a horrible video clip. Whomever made it could have left the lame music off of it, and maybe we could have heard the exhaust at the end.

MMMMMMMM, yeah I'll take one! New Corvette C7 with direct injected twin-turbo 4.9L V-8!! Please!! That car would be BAD ***.
The 4.9L (minus twin turbos) was called out in the preview of the GMC Denali XT for any of you that were wondering.

Being conservative with the horsepower guesstimate, and using the 2.0L GDI Turbo 4 in the GXP, Redline, and SS Cobalt as a baseline, this engine could be good for 540 HP given 110 hp per liter and close to the same in torque. The 2.0L has 260, @ 130 HP per liter, so I think this should be doable. It would probably get pretty decent gas mileage to boot!

Ohhh Envy.,... We meet again.

I love the way things are going. Everything I read says a 10.6 1/4 mile at 136mph or faster. Back on the old 90-95 ZR-1 the only way to get 600+hp was to buy the 415cid engine package from Lingenfelter.
