there are a few 2nd gens that are quick too.

as for fast 1st gens, remember that they are 351 motors, so all the mustang mods work. including dart blocks, big time forced induction, etc etc. one of my best friends ran 11.9s on a stock long block with an strim blower years ago. oh yea, over 1000 passes as well on that thing. only lifted a gasket once. incredible. something to be said about ford racing, there is a huge following, unlike the lack of support and sponsership of the GM camp. too bad i missed Lfest this year. just too busy.

as for that pic, absolutely awesome and no one here can take anything away from that truck and driver.

That sounds like a turbo. I could hear the whistle.

That's sweet ... and FAST!

I think I'm gonna go with a centri blower. You could here it whistle before he lined up. It sounded kinda like he was trying to keep it from dying.

Parish, you no longer drive a Chevy, you are a drag truck now.....

hey parrish, there are gonna be a couple of 9 second Ls in one years time. guys are starting to dump the idea of the roots and going to the centri blowers. i know sal at PSP has gone 700/700 at the rearwheels in his testing phases with an F1r blower. so that should be plenty fast enough. pretty sick stuff but those trucks are such pigs. still fun to watch! get your big motor in there and push that boost and you got it! get that suck launching right in the low 1.5s and it should be a damn fun ride! lol
