I thought it was awesome
The outside stock was trick - wheels were trick - not good looking - but trick
Motor was slick
Your right - they were real tight lipped on the LS - looked like to me - GM had to tune it to get it to run right - that is how I took it.
Awesome sleeper car

i live across the street from the GM proving grounds and could hear them running. sounded insane because they could stay in the throttle for long periods of time. when i saw what it was they were running i was amazed. old *** torinado. if i knew it was leno i would have thrown a rock at him or something.

At my old work advance auto parts we have a tv for the company and for weeks on end they kept playing this 5 minute segment of the interview and the car.

Yep, if you noticed it had twin MAFs on it. Rumor is the newer computers have inputs for two MAFs.

GM PLEASE make that a REAL crate engine. PLEASE!!!!!

I saw it and it was an awesome motor! Too bad they didn't hook the Olds up with some tubs and slicks to really feel it!

That was one fugly car..But that TT motor MORE than made up for it!!

1000HP hmmm, i doubt that seriously from that motor with those turbos...must be 1000 fwhp...no way it would put down 1000 at the tires.
