searching pulled up threads from 2006 and 2006 
I just bought a 2010 Silvarado 1500 4x4, is there a way to turn off the chime that sounds when the truck is in gear and the seatbelt isnt fastened?

yeah there is. just a simple plug needs to be disconnected. i think one under the driver seat and one under passenger seat.
