You can send any VHS tape to me. I have all the equipment to convert VHS to files, miniDV, etc. and vice versa. Plus I won't charge for it usually it costs a pretty penny

hey kyle, my camera has a built in digital converter. any tape we can play we can get to digital just by sending it thru the camera.

mini dv tapes would be the best.

If you want, yes. I can digitize the VHS tape onto my computer, then send it to you if you like. However, the quality of the video will be equal to the VHS tape, if it's fuzzy or whatever, I can't fix that.
When digitizing/capturing video onto a computer, the more mediums it goes through (e.g. going from VHS, to a miniDV tape, then to a computer, etc.) the poorer the final quality, from what I've seen. It also depends on the type of video camera you use/used. If you use a shitty home video camera like the ones you get at most stores, the resolution isn't that great, but if you use a better camera like an XL1 for example, the picture turns out great. But for the price of a home video cam (~$500) it works just fine.
