Truck stolen today!!!!!
#11
Lets hear some pros and cons. This is for a 04 custom Avalanche that I use a my daily driver and to occasoinally tow a race car on the weekends. I am not looking to set any records with this truck. I want it to pull a lot better while towing and supprise the crap out of an unsuspecting vehicle at the light
. The cost is close enought that I don't want to let that make my decision. The only reason so far I am leaning a little toward the Radix right now is I would like to have it done by the Hot Rod Power Tour which is only a month away. Seth is telling me 2-3 weeks on the headers. I can get the Radix right away.
If its the turbo I am looking at the small kit and not changing any other internals, Yet

1st and foremost, if you have wives or exwives that need stripping, i'm sure we could oblige.
2nd, how this wraps up with your ins co depends completely on how they handle total loss claims. If it were my company, we'd run the vehicle through CCCValuescope who would provide us with an Actual Cash Value based on your regional market and the vehicle options and conditions, then cut you a check after 30 days, which if the vehicle isnt recovered in 30 days, chances are near 100% it wont be recovered in any salvageable form. If you are upside down in your loan, you're fairly screwed and with the creative financing and rolling over older loans, its becoming more and more commonplace. Your best bet is to keep in mind when you're talking to your ins. co. adjuster that they vehicle even though it was several years old, was in excellent condition, had every option you can think of, and had rediculously low mileage, like 15,000 since it was hardly ever driven. capishe?

nine i dont know i think they are about the same. both you just stick a screw driver under the handle and you are in. in our fords they were screwing a slam hammer in the ignitions and ripping them out then sliding a new one with a key right in.
o and the thing that realy pisses me off if they were taking the trucks to mexico to load full of illegals then they just dump them when they get across.
