105* an not moving with a clutch fan or e fans its going to climb. Mine runs 210-215 in slow moving traffic. Nothing is wrong with my truck, i wouldnt worry with it until it doesnt cool off from 210 when you start moving or with it idling in traffic it keeps climbing to 230s+

Once it gets hot and you take off do you hear the fan clutch roaring? If you don't then you probably need one. If it does roar then you need to blow the debris out of your radiator and condenser. Granted mine has a new 34 inch two row radiator in it but the 05+ fans even on low keep it plenty cool in 110+ degree heat. Even after long periods of idling with the AC on it will still freeze you out and never get over 195.

Cant hear the fan, but I have never heard it in this truck, like the fuel pump it is silent. My 98 on the other hand, the clutch fan was loud and you could tell it was on.

If the temp creeps any past 200 or so the fan clutch should pretty well be locked in completely. Once you get moving and going through the gears it should roar like crazy until the temp drops back down then all of the sudden it will kick out and you will have your power back and be all nice and cool.

If youre going to be sitting in the heat for a long period of time with a clutch fan, it cant spin itself fast enough for that long... pop your hood, that does the trick.

Or get efans, and you can flip em on.

But yea the truck pretty much never gets above 210 even here in tx unless it was sitting idling for more than 10 minutes

Again, my clutch fan has always been silent, it has never roared like my obs. It is and has always been silent.

I can sit 10 minutes fine, its sitting for longer periods 20-45(depending on temp) minutes thats the problem. I guess its just normal.

I recently had a temperature creep in my truck. After 5 minutes it would start creeping up any time it was over 100F.

I replaced the fan clutch ( i could still hear the old one roar when it got hot), and now i can sit in 110 weather with the ac on full blast idling for 20-30 minutes and it doesn't move at all.
