Angry Truck is in the shop!!

Well had a very interesting day today. I took my truck yesterday to have the tranny fluid changed, the Kwick Car Lube did a great job. Today I had them put in the tranny filter. When they finished as I was driving off I noticed that my truck wasn't shifting at all!!! At 50mph I was at 3500rpm! At a stand still when I gave it the gas it bogged down and I had to give it a whole lot more gas just to drive off from the light.
I knew they f'ed something up,so I drive it back to the shop slowly and tell them whats wrong. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. They hked it up to a computer and still couldn't tell what was wrong. So the head mechanic called one of his shade tree mechanic buddy's over to the shop. First he came over and immidiately hooked it up to his tranny computer he brought over. They sat in my truck reving it up over and over again trying to figure out what the problem is. When that gave it the gas it sounded like the truck was bogging down. So then they decided to drive it around for a bit, when they came back he told me that the truck was messing up at the 2-3 shift. So now they think its a tranny pressure problem. Well by that time I had already been there for about 4-5hrs, so yes I'm totally pissed! As I called my dad to come get me because they were closing, they started giving me BS about that the truck has a solinoid problem and has nothing to do with the service that they did (trying to get themselves off the hook ) I ripped him saying it was fin until you Fu$kers screwed with it! Now so I'm at home hoping that it's just a pressure problem and that they fix it tomorrow. If they don't fix it then they will be buying me a new tranny or computer etc...!!! I'm pissed!! Just venting guys, had to let you guys know about my bad day.

That sucks big time. That's why I do everything I can myself. Rather have busted knuckels then a busted truck by bozo's like that. Hope they own up to it. Just have whoever is going to look at the tranny document what it was...so you got ammo

it might be a shift control module either A or B. i did a tranny fluid and filter change on mine and broke B. my truck would only take off in 3rd gear and stay in that gear. i did have reverse tho. took a lot of peddel to get it moving. whats interesting is i used predator to find the problem right off the bat. seems to me they should see something on the computer.

sounds like a problem i had with my tranny when i had my yank put in. the truck would not shift out of 2 gear. i would be cruising down the road at 4000 rpm in 2 gear at 50 mph. it was throughing codes that the speed sensor was bad or something. it was like it was limp/ safe mode. to make a long story short, a pin popped out of the wiring harness and was not connected. did they disconnect any wiring under the truck? this might be the problem

Got it fixed. The dumb **** didn't push the filter all the way up and it wasn't sealing correctly.

Good! I was about to mention the o-ring on the filter may have been plugged in there. To hell with quick car and their $35 oil changes!

They were gonna charge Chingon like $60 to change his cabin air filters!
