Truck is Overheating?
#1
My O5' 1500 5.3 is overheating.
Here's the low down:
-Stock motor (K&N intake)
-replace the water pump about 6 months ago.
Normal operating temp for the truck is about 210.
I noticed 4 weeks ago that it started overheating. Added some water and it was fine. Then it started acting up again last week.
City driving it gets to about 235. Highway it drops back down to 210.
Both fans work. No water leak from new Water pump.
Could I have a bad Thermo Stat?
