I was headed to work today, and my truck went boom. I think my transmission is shot. No froward gears, no reverse gear, and the weird part is the truck won't roll backwards, only froward. It also makes a strange clicking sound.

I'm trying to decide if I want to get it rebuilt locally, the stock one lasted a good while, so I might do that. Opinions?

Go with a trusted builder not local IMO. I went local to a trusted guy from a few friends etc. Broke 7 of his BUILT units and finally got a FLT.
FLT is a very nice tranny IMO. Now if only i could find some time to remove my bum yank stall haha.
